Attendance
Consistent attendance is a fundamental pillar of academic success. A parent or guardian has three days to clear an absence. If the absence is not cleared with appropriate documentation, it remains on the student's record as a cut/truant. Extensive research demonstrates that students who consistently attend school significantly increase their likelihood of attaining their educational aspirations and becoming better equipped for future pursuits.
Encouraging Good Attendance
Our school has several of the resources that may be needed to help with attendance issues. Reach out to your child’s teacher, school counselor, academic support advisor, or principal to schedule a phone call or meeting. The school can connect you with school-based wellness or mental health services or an academic support provider for community-based resources and referrals.
